Indications for use:
Administer through water to one day old birds or to birds of any age at times of stress - including debeaking or injections, during diet changes, after transport or when health challenges arise.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Bacterial Strains: The Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum strains used in Avi-Bac&trade Plus were isolated from poultry, and therefore are adapted for colonization in the gut of poultry. The Bacillus subtilis is a prolific growing strain that is active in competitive exclusion and the production of enzymes and vitamin B complexes.
Soluble Hemicellulose Fiber: A prebiotic fiber that serves to promote the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria.
Freeze Dried and Sealed Foil Pouch: Bacterial strains are freeze dried at harvest to preserve viability. Avi-Bac&trade Plus is packaged in a sealed foil pouch to assure viability at time of application.
Solubility: The product is uniquely soluble for use in drinkers or nipple drinker systems.
Directions for Use
One pouch is to be administered to 10,000 birds.
Add the correct number of Avi-Bac&trade Plus pouches to one gallon of tap water to make a stock solution.
Meter or mix stock solution into water supply at the rate of one ounce per one gallon of water (1:128).
Recommended Use
For one day old birds at time of placement for 2-3 days
Before and after vaccination
Before and after movement between houses
For 2-3 days during any stress
After therapeutic use of antibiotics
